u the christians and the muslims both believe that jesus has to come to the earth again but the muslim believe for that seems to be very authentic and better than the christian one as the christians believe that jesus was crucified or if even not then he died anyway but the muslims believe that Jesus was'nt crucified and was'nt even killed but infact he was taken up into the heaven physically b4 the jews couls kill him.
so is the muslim believe not better than the christian one bcause if a person has died and then comes to earth again in a new era it doesn't look so authentic but if jesus was'nt killed and was physically taken from the earth to the heavens where he is protected till it is his time to come down to earth so a man alive in the heavens! see both the believes say that jesus has to return but the muslim belief looks more authentic diesn't it ?????????????
don't judge the question upon if u r a muslim or a christian just answer it fairly with u'r sence of THINKING.

Christians and Muslims do not put the same level of belief into Jesus. Muslims believe that Mohamed is there true prophet.
The Muslim belief is not more authentic.

I admire your thought process! I as a Christian would like to point out in our faith Jesus was put on the Cross and died. He died so that those who believe in Him will have their sins forgiven and opened up the way to Heavan. He became the blood sacrifice in the Old Testiment. He arose and spent some time on earth and then went up into Heavan to return at a later date. The Muslims are just having Him die for no reason, what a waste it would be and God would never let mere man murder Jesus for no good reason. He died cause He loves us. I know it's hard to understand all of this if you don't know the Bible but I would look to the Bible for answers. It's sad that anyone would think Jesus' death was fornothing!

What if it were all meant to be symbolic of much greater truths than we would be able to understand either way.

Now that would not mean that they are not true in a sense! Only, that there would be no need to fight over them, but instead, to let the beliefs guide our lives the way they could.

Listen to the words of John Lennon, in Imagine. I am not at liberty to repeat them here. But he says, "I hope some day, you'll join us, and the world will live as one." And yet I feel he did believe in life after death, maybe much stronger than many other people.

You believe already that the Muslim teaching on this is the correct view. You will never understand the truth as long as you insist one view is correct without knowing. Maybe your world view is deficient. If that is true, which I believe it is, then it will be very difficult for you to see it correctly. Living in a Muslim world with closed minded individuals governing people, jobs, schools, mosques, and all walks of life-it may be impossible for you to ever see the truth. There are literally millions of people in this world whose hearts breaks for the Muslims. But we can not help you because you are taught that we are your enemy, and infidels. Actually it is Islam and Muslims who are hurting their own. I don't mean hurting as in war, and fighting. I mean hurting as in false teaching.

No, I don't believe that it would be any more "authentic" whatever that means.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins and was the first to be resurrected as all of us will be. Even in death and resurrection, Jesus provided us with a model of what is to come. Some will be resurrected into glorified bodies to dwell with Jesus, while others will be resurrected into the second resurrection for their punishment.

The fair answer to your question is that there is a HUGE difference between the two.

Christianity is based upon the divine nature of Jesus. That He is the Son of the one true God and that He is the path to salvation.

Islam is a creation of the deceiver and distractor (he that creates the pursuit of the many false gods (greed, lust, power, hatred, allah, etc) to keep us away from the love and mercy of God) and part of it is to deny the divine nature of Jesus.

Think it thru. Islam expects people to believe that Christ was NOT crucified...then their next statement is that Christianity is based upon a false belief. Not crucified means no salvation.

I beg to difer with what @treceede said.
Actually Muslims believe in Jesus.
But unlike Christioans,
to us Jesus is a prophet,
& not God as calaimed by the Christians.

The Christians believe that Jesus died on the cross for an atonement for our sins,.There can be no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood. Jesus paid the ultimate price by giving himself , a blameless, perfect lamb of God. Otherwise we would have no way to receive forgivess for our sins. No one can be good enough on their own to receive eternal life, Christ was.

God did no longer create evil. He can't. guy created evil and guy can stop being evil. till that factor, God will choose in accordance to the regulations He widely used interior the Bible. that's all there. You the two attempt to persist with it - or you do no longer. that's now and continually your very own decision. God WILL forgive if there is repentance. yet there'll continually be a consequence. (see Psalm fifty one)

The Qur'an does not teach that Jesus will return to earth -- it merely recognizes Jesus as a prophet. But the idea is nonsensical in any case. Both the Qur'an and the bible have errors, so it is pointless to rely on either.
