When I mention the topic of commitment\feelings and relationships with my close female friend she changes the topic and won't speak about it,even though I'm not referring to 'us'.I only ask for her views, she goes quiet.WHY won’t she talk about this with me???
Recently she thought that I started dating a girl and she practically ignored me for a week and contact is still on-off,not like it used to be.Was this jealousy or just a coincidence? My behaviour HAS NOT changed towards her and I'm not actually dating anyone.I was told she is happy for me, if so,why wouldn’t she ask about this girl, seeing she’s a good mate?
Also when I joked she had a new boyfriend she shouted down the phone "what f**king boyfriend! There’s no one, I wish I had one,f**king hell".Why'd she get so angry?
Am to meet her this wkn,she said no serious conversations(referring to relationships\commitment\feelings I believe),I asked her why and she’s gone quiet on me since.WHY?
Have I done anything wrong?

OTHER INFO:Might be useful....
I keep going out with my close female friend,(in touch practically everyday) we go to dinner, lunch together and for drinks in the evening. We also take roadtrips together to the coast and to the country for walks, usually followed by dinner and its just the 2 of us. While we're out we flirt, tell each other everything, feel very comfortable with each other, sort of act as a couple....
I've noticed that she does not like it when I mention other girls that have caught my eye, she changes the subject ASAP. When I mention if she's interested in anyone, the answer is always no,she hasn't pulled anyone when out,etc...we kissed once after 1 night out(a few months bck, very passionate) but nothing since (wud remain only friends),we just keep meeting up,in constant touch etc

It sounds to me like its one of two things. Firstly her behaviour could be due to the fact that she actually likes you and wants more than friendship out of your relationship. The way she refuses to talk about any girl that you are seeing or any relationship that you may be in, is a big clue. She obviously enjoys spending time with you when it is just you two, but when conversation turns to your relationships she doesn't want to know, as it may upset her that its not her that you are interested in. Either that, or she doesn't want to lose you as her close friend. Some women that have male friends can be very protective. She may feel that any other woman that comes on the scene is going to disrupt your relationship with her. If you have a girlfriend, then seeing your friend as often as you did, and going out with her alone isn't going to be as easy. You need to find out what she wants from you. If its a relationship then you need to let her know if you feel the same. If she worried about losing your friendship then you need to reassure her that you will always be her friend regardless of if you have girlfriend or not.
Good luck!

Sorry just have to ask HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING ON THE MOON for a while shes obviously smitten by you how could you not notice this when you're already conciously aware that you are flirting with each other hence the reason she doesnt like you talking about other women. And so in answer to your question no this is not or shouldnt be 'normal' behaviour for someone who is supposed to be just a friend but is very normal behaviour for someone who has a major crush on you.Goodluck.

You didn't do anything wrong but I think you know why. She might have feelings towards you and its probably frustrating her. She likes you and she knows that you both can never be more than what you are right now or it will ruin a good friendship. The fact that you danced around it when you kissed, and nothing really changed after that, she knows she can't expect anything more. That's just my view.

I really think you need to bite the bullet and sit down and talk this through properly. She needs to know how you feel and know that if she's not interested in taking it further then she needs to let you move on. If she loves you as a freind then she should be willing to let you do this. Its not fair on you, if shes sending out mixed signals on herself for that matter.
Maybe shes just scared to take it further with you in case it doesnt work out and she ends up losing you as a freiend, which is justified.
Either way you need to talk and she needs to listen and vice versa if friendship or more is to remain or happen.
No point being unhappy and the current situation obviously is.
Best of luck

Well, this is a fine mess. It sounds to me like she's confused about her feelings for you. She also seems to lack some essential communication skills. You've tried talking to her directly, but give it one more shot. Make sure you're in person and tell her your observations and then ask her to correct any of your misconceptions. This keeps it non-threatening. Other than that, you'll have to decide whether it's worth dealing with or not. Good luck!

Can't you see,the girl is in love with you.You are gonna have to think long and hard about how you feel about her,do you think that you could have a relationship with her and if it didn't work out would it ruin a great friendship. Then once you've got it straight in your head you need to sit her down and talk to her,if she gets all uptight, don't get into an argument, you'll get nowhere like that.Any way I wish you luck in whatever you decide to do

Wake up and smell the roses - She fancy's you. That is why she gets upset when you make comments about other girls etc. Are you testing her mmmm? This girl is nuts about you naturally she will get upset if you discuss feeling for other woman. Common, discuss what she wants out of life, what she plan's for the future and ask her if you are interested in her if her plan's include you as well.

hunnie from your story, i think she likes you.
why dont you make the first move? try to be more than friends with her.
and also when she's quiet when you telling her about other girls is because she's jealous.
and the other thing that you told about the gossip about you dating a girl and she just won't speak with you is not coincidence, she's really upset that time.
i hope you can do more than being friends with her but you also have to make sure about your feelings.
hope this helps hunnie.
