What was the year of the first human?
What year was Adam and Eve created?

Good answers although the date which Adam & Eve were created is still a blur. Dinosaurs supposedly died 64-65 million years ago. Lucy is expected to be 3.9 millions "old". A glipse of ancient human history begins 8000 BC. Quite a gap between Lucy and ancient Egypt.

The Catholic has interesting insight into the first human beings. The Catholic Church has as its goal and mission to be the spiritual guide for people, and to give information on faith and morals. It is not there to give information on science, or anything of that sort. Therefore, when it comes to Adam and Eve, it gives information pertaining to faith and morals. What we believe, is that there were two original human beings, and we call them Adam and Eve. We know this, because sin entered the world through the actions of these two people, and they had free will and reason. An disobedient act cannot be performed by symbols.

The exact way in which the world was created, how long it took, how evolution may have occurred, etc. is up to the interpretation of the reader, because these are issues of science, not of faith and morals, which the Church has the authority to teach on. We, as Catholics, are free to believe that the 6 days which God took to create the universe were literal 6 twenty-four hour days, or 6 one thousand year periods, or 6 unknown periods of time. The exact action of Adam and Eve are also up for debate, but the main conclusion is that the reason for their punishment was their disobedience to God's command.

Also, you are free to believe in evolution, as long as you view it as a work of God, something God put into action, and that there were two original human parents, who were conceived with a human soul which was given by God, with human reason, etc.

I hope this gives you some good information and if you would like further information on this or any other Christian or Catholic topic, please feel free to email me at philinaberdeen@gmail.com I will be happy to answer any question or questions you may have.

Thank you.

I always think of adam and eve as symbolically the first humans. I don't think that eve was made literally from adam's rib etc. I think when christianity, Judaism and Islam were being formed, they had to speak in layman's terms to get people to understand and follow. I think any discussion of natural selection and single celled organisms and catalysts and DNA would have been too much information, so they did what made sense and that's to make a story about creation that would make more sense to the greatest number of people. The aim was not to confuse, but to convert people to a better way of life with moral rules and regulations about life with others. Unfortunately these details about the stories get too much attention and the purpose of the teachings gets lost. A good way to look at it is that it doesn't matter if there really was an adam or an eve or how they came to be, it matters that we treat each other and our environment with respect and expect and reciproctae civility and kindness in our everyday lives no matter what our religion or nationality.

Nobody knows the exact date, of the very first
prehuman (which was named Lucy, according to anthropologists), were created, only roughly the year they'r remains were found.
This prehuman looked like a monkey and a little like a human being. She walked errect, as like humans of today. She had her baby with her at the site when her remains were discovered.

When Lucifer fell from heaven, when he attempted to dethrown God, satan came down to earth. His sin corupted the earth so badly that the earth had to be recreated.
Gen. 1:2 is a recreation of the perfect earth God had originally created. This is scientific creationism, which many Christians have always believed and still believe today.
Everything God creates He creates with perfection. Gen 1:2 says the earth was formless and void. In the original Hebrew the word "was" in Gen 1:2 means "became". What caused the earth to become formless and void/imperfect ? Lucifer, who after his willful rebellion in heaven, was then called satan, caused the earth to become formless and void/imperfect.
So in the beginning of the bible times when God created the earth, it was formless and void (Imperfect). And that was why it was recreated.
Again, as in the Very beginning, with Lucy, the same as with Adam and Eve, nobody knows the exact year Adam and Eve were created by God, only rough estamates.!!!

In both cases, the world may never know !!! Hope this information helps a little.

According to the Bible, Adam and Eve were the first humans created on Earth. I know the Jewish (secular) calendar starts with creation, which I believe it is presently at year 5767.

As I understand it, the Jews have a secular calendar, and a religious calendar. The secular calendar starts the new year at Rosh Hashanah (? spelling), the religious starts around month 3 or 4. (In America, we currently tend to use the Gregorian calendar).

My answer is simply, as i am pagan, i dont know what to beleive but lilith was the first woman, in mythology? or truth? i dont know, but she came before eve. Lilith was intelligent and she is a pagan goddess. i am not just being biased because im pagan, look it up on yahoo. But lilith, was fed up of adam because he was slow and ignorant, so she left eden and she had relationships with some form of demon and she had 'dark' kids (some of my info may be incorrect, but lilith was the first woman and she did leave eden because adam was stupid) she was erased from the bible as she was thought to be evil.
