Get a bowl with some warm water in its bottom. Dip the mold into it so that the surface jelly in the mold is softened. Take it out and dry the mold with a towel and then invert onto the surface you want to leave it on.

If you've got a firm mold, which I assume because if it was flexible, the jelly should have come out, then heat it (jelly facing you/bottom up/ the picture of the mold down) in warm water for a few seconds. Place a plate on top, quickly flip over, and Voila! You've got a perfectly-released jelly mold.

Spray the mold with no-stick cooking spray first and/or hold the mold in hot water for 20-30 seconds they should slide right out.
