Are you behaving yourself?
God reveals Himself to me daily... in His creation and through His Word. Also through my daily experiences, I can see His hand working in my life. There will come a day when he will return literally and bodily and ALL will see Him.
Revalation 19:11 "And I saw heaven opened and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war."
But by the time this happens, if you have not received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior... Perish the thought.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life... He who believes in Him is not judged; he whoe does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God... But he who practices truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wroght in God." John 3:16, 18, 21
He loves you and wants a living relationship with you...
"...that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation." Romans 10:9-10

"show himself to us" ?
Read what happend to these people who asked the same question as you asked:
[55] And (remember) when you said: "O Mûsâ (Moses)! We shall never believe in you until we see Allâh plainly." But you were seized with a thunder-bolt (lightning) while you were looking.
Quran 2:55
they asked Moses to see God so they can believe, So God hits them with a thunder-bolt, put them all dead. God is the most highness, no one sees him like that. and if he showed himself, then there is no point for the day of judgement and it's over.

This guy is cutting his hair at the Babar Shop and the conversation is if God exist. The Babar say God does not exist for if He did, why haven't people find Him yet.
The customer disagrees and they went on and on about whose right, till the haircut is finish.
Upon leaving the Babar Shop, the customer looked outside and noticed alot of people walking around with overgrown hair. He turn back to the Babar and said to him, ' Babars do not exist'
The Babar say, 'how could you say that, here I am and I just cut your hair'.
The customer says, ' Then how come there are all these people out there with long over grown hair, why is it that they don't come to you and have it cut?'
The Babar replies, 'because they are simply just not looking at my shop and probable not ready to get a hair cut'.
The customer respond, ' and people are simply just not ready and looking for God in the right pleaces.
GOD CAN BE FOUND RIGHT WITHIN YOURSELF AND ALL LIVING THINGS. YOU JUST HAVE TO LOOK INSIDE NOT WITH YOUR EYES BUT WITH YOUR HEART.

Ps 19:1
"The heavens are telling of the glory of God;
And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands..."
Rom 1:18-20
18 "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."

"god" doesn't show "himself" because there is no such "god" and even if "he" showed up, do you honestly think that people would behave? I doubt it. Besides that, the bible is a work of fiction, written by people to scare people into doing what they wanted them to do.
If anyone else hasn't noticed, "god" went from being a scary "Your all going to die" murderous thing to a now forgiving one. I think that the differences from the bibles back then and now should be enough to have proven that the bible is false.

I think that even if God showed himself, there would be so many disbelievers who would still not believe. They would do all they could to "prove" it wasn't him, to find evidence of it being a trick or something. Yes, some might believe, but many would do all they could to discount him, they just wouldn't have the faith to believe.

God is the alfa and omega. He is the reality. The Ultimate Essence. Can you handle "interfacing" God plainly? Or would it be that when you interface Him directly human tiny brain and existence would simply vanish?
[25:21] Such as fear not the meeting with Us (for Judgment) say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety!

God does show Himself to us. Just not physically. He's so holy and pure that we couldn't physically see Him and live. He does however show Himself to us in other ways. Personally, I see God best in nature (like the changing trees in the fall), in babies (they're little miricles), in microscopic science (I'm in college biology right now and it amazes me everytime I look at something under a microscope that we have a God who loves us enough to make us such complex creatures), and in other people.

With faith, God shows Himself in my daily life.
How much faith does it take to believe the existence of something that you can physically touch? Do you really believe that physical presence would cause "everyone" to believe and behave themselves?

According to the Bible, according to Christianity, "God did show himself, when He became man, died on the cross for humanity and was resurrected from the dead."
Why humanity doesn't behave themselves, I there own personal choice.
We, humanity, all have the greatest gift of all,
"Free Will."
