Headaches can be caused by your eyesight--if you go to a doctor for headaches they often refer you to an eye doctor to see if that's the problem.

The other big one is your sight--which can be tricky--you only have your eyes, so you don't know what things are supposed to look like. If you find that you can't read a sign that everyone else can, if you need to stand up to see the score of a sports event on tv (while others can see it from your couch), or if you feel like you are slow to focus on moving objects (have trouble catching a softball, for instance) these are good clues.

If you are asking for yourself and not a friend, you probably do need glasses. People with 20/80 vision usually don't think anything is wrong with them unless they get in a situation where they compare themselves with someone seeing 20/20. Since you are asking, your vision is probably that bad or worse.

Some symptoms are eyes tire easily, headaches, or eye strain. Also if it is harder to see the distance or near than it use to be. Getting an eye exam is definitely the only way to know for sure.

When you have to squint to see objects or recognise people from a distance.
When you get frequent headaches from reading, writing or focussing on objects for long periods of time.

Recommendations: Get an eyetest and go to see a professonal optometrist.
Introduce more carrots and pumkins in your diet as they will give you more Vitamin A you help with your eyesight.
