Depends on how dehydrated you are. Add some fiber to your diet along with the H2O.
Drink at least 20oz of H2O every waking hour for 1 week. You should see results in a few days. Then make sure you continue 8oz of H2O/waking hour with the fiber increase in your diet. Exercise will help too.
If you are very uncomfortable try Magnesium Citrate. You can buy it at any drug store. It comes flavored, but still tastes bad.
Hope this helps

Drinking too much water is not good for you, Eight glasses in one day is enough. Drink some Nature - Slim Tea, it is a oriental Herb Tea (Chinese) but be careful it really makes you poop and is used for weight loss so don't drink too much at one time, because it will give you the runs.

It's more likely to make you pee! But drinking water certainly helps most people be more regular with bowel movements. If you want a little more natural help in addition to drinking water, include fruit, vegetables, and high fiber cereals in your diet. (I have a little bran with each meal, and that helps.)

Water doesn't really make you poop. It makes you pee. It might help keep you from getting constipated, but if you want to poop, try coffee or maybe apple juice.
