What would happen to someone who took 8 nurofen pluses? (They have 200mg ibuprofen and 12.8mg codeine phosphate per tablet) How many would one have to take to do damage? How many to cause death?

For me Ibuprofen causes weird reactions in my body so I dont take the stuff but honestly it would be a heck of a lot of the stuff to kill yourself with it and fair bit to do any permanent damage.
The reason the packet says to take a certain amount is because if you take the max dose that pack says to take and you still have pain you need to see a doctor. Pain is a warning system in your body. Over the counter medication is only for mild and temporary conditions. If two Nurofen Plus dont relieve the pain go see your doctor.
