Hominy is corn and ground up hominy is what the South calls grits....um good when cooked with butter and salt and pepper....God bless all..

A form of corn. But it's meatier and bigger than a normal corn kernel. You can find them in the store, usual in the ethnic or near the Mexican section with the salsas and tortillas. It's really good.

It is corn, it is good, too, especially with bacon grease, that is how my mom used to fix it, but I don't eat it that way anymore, will clog your arteries.
