Some people, I've found...never question anything! Are you too afraid? Why not look beyond what you're told? Things such as ghosts and religion seem to be well here's what it is and that's all you need to know. Why have we stopped thinking on our own?

For one, I believe in God and Jesus Christ. Religion is VERY confusing...and that's why I posted my question in Religion. I'm wondering why people don't question and just go through their lives being robots!

I ask this same question every single day. Come on people! Read. Listen. Educate yourselves!

I don't just believe what I'm "fed". I go to the word of God, and pray. If I have a question about something I go to God with it I have a question for you. If you don't believe in any of this then why are you on the RELIGION & SPIRITUALITY section??

My apologies, guess I'm just a little defensive after reading all the non believers questions for "us Christians". I reread your question and I actually agree with you. Some people don't question things their told. When I came to God I made sure that I didn't just listen to what I was told, I wanted to know the truth. So I studied the Bible and prayed often, and when I talk to someone that wants to know more, I tell them to do the same. I don't try to push my beliefs on them, I want them to find out their own beliefs for themselves.

I do think on my own. Jesus Christ has saved me from a life of hell. I know the Truth now and without the Truth my life was nothing, had no purpose, blah - Jesus Christ is the Truth, the Way, the Life - I have purpose now, hope of Heaven, excitement, real living. I have an abundant life now. Blessings to you and may you find Truth - Jesus Christ before it is too late.

Ya know ? You are Funny !

My Mother used to tell me to be open minded, think for myself, and make my own decisions.

When I received Jesus Christ as my Savior, all that went out the Window.

My Mother was a Liquor Soaked Hypocrite, and like most unbelievers, she was arrogant, and abusive in her unbelief.

I agree with your point of view.

But after learning as MUCH as I can I don't need answers to questions anymore.

All your answers eventually come from you. You decide it all.

Read everything you can. Listen to everyone. Make up your own mind.

The key is being the best person you can be and not expecting.

Because it is more comforting to some people to believe in a lie than go around every day with the knowledge that once you die, you're done, son.

The Bible predicts this behavior. It says people will avoid the truth and gather around teachers who say what their itching desire to hear.
I think God knows us far better than we even realize.???
