daily I say it in my actions by not mistreating anyone.
The one I have not said it to~ physically assaulted me the night before I burried my MoM.
THAT is a hard one, handed to me as a HUGE test of forgiveness.

Not only a good Christian. Forgiveness is important to us all. Of course, some offenses should not be forgiven and forgotten. Some require justice, and to simply forgive without calling for justice would actually be an injustice.

I did it one time and was the hardest thing I had to do, but I didnt say I forgive you I said I am sorry. We was in a revival and this man from our church had a foster kid who was sitting behind us. I would sometimes hear laughing and then next thing I knew there was something hitting me from behind. I turned around to find it was a pen. I told those two boys to calm down. Well after the meeting the man came up to me and I mean he let me have it. He told me to take care of my own family, and said oh yes thats why you have no son cause you couldnt. Well you talk about a knife hitting me hard. Then he said some things about me teaching the juniors. Well I went to the altar and cried. My pastor was on vacation and I talked with a lady from another church asking what should I do. She said I should tell him I am sorry for telling the boys to calm down, and I did tell the man that a few days after ward. Even though I never really done anything bad but to keep it from getting worse I knew thats what I should have done as well. My husband was more effected by this than me. He was ready to hit that man for hurting me like that. The man never did say sorry back but I know I did what God would have wanted me to.

Yes, this is really the true strength of the Christianity. I have learnt to do that, cause this is also one of the ways to show someone that he/she hurt you. They may be confused, but it makes them think.

I used to all the time but nobody cared if i forgave them or not so i quit. I leave the forgiving up to God now. I don't hate anyone(Well, almost no one) nowadays i just ask to be saved from those who would do me harm be it bad or misguided good intentions. Peace.

I forgive you for being so deluded as to believe that this is a Christian value, and for thinking that Christians are so much better than the rest of humanity. You simply don't know any better.

i believe its not right to constantly say i forgive you,its more important that you prove it via your deeds and actions, you need to make the person realise his mistake, they should feel the pain and repent for their wrong doing only then will they not repeat the same mistake and when they have realised it for themselves and are sorry only then can you say you have forgiven them.forgiving people without they realising they were wrong will simply lead them in the wrong path because they will fear nobody and are aware that forgiveness comes quite easily.
