Yea, you would think that god would have released a bible in each of his languages, seeing that its importance is everything.

But the Koran still exists in the original form, it has been translated in many languages but still can be compared to the original texts and since the language is still a language that is widely spoken we are not guessing at what the words mean. The Bible was written in several different languages, has been revised and some parts taken out or changed. What about the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Agnostic Gospels? Were they originally part of the Bible, no one knows? With the Koran we do know.

You know, I've asked the same question to myself and others. It seems like the bible has been revised and translated wrong and someone supposedly found some new testament or book to it? It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, and honestly I think man created the bible to set some sort of laws upon the land. Granted, they could have recieved inspiration from God. Who knows what lanaguage God speaks...I mean I don't think anyone knows. I think he "speaks" to everyone. I don't know much about other religious books, but considering I've grown up in a Christian setting, I've thought a lot about wheither the bible is what it is. I hope I've helped...but I've probably only confused you more...yet isn't religion confusing anyway?

If you take the Bible (or any OTHER text) as the literal, exact, unwavering, infallible "word of God", then it's going to be tough to support that position given all of the translation errors thru time.
If you believe that the Bible is the INSPIRED word of God, and believe that the spirit of the word transcends translation problems, then you have firmer ground.
God speaks to the spirit. His "language" is spiritual.

The Holy Bible is "God breathed" - inspired by God but penned by man. There are good translations of the Bible - NIV, NKJV, KJV, NASB (my favorite) and many others. These are God's Word and Truth. Blessings to you.
