I have loads of messenger programs and stuff like that that always start in the task bar on the bottom right hand side of the screen everytime I turn on the PC. I have been through a few of the options for each individual program and turned them off but is there another way to stop them loading?

Go to Start menu and click on Run - type: msconfig - and press enter. Go to Start-up tab and disable the things you don't want to run at start up. But be careful not to disable the important things needed to start you PC.

go with initiate then run then type msconfig press enter. interior the window that opens up go with initiate tab and uncheck the packing packing containers of courses you do no longer decide to initiate. a sturdy rule is that in case you re unsure what this technique is or if its mandatory the do no longer uncheck the container. some courses are needed for printers modems or virus protection. yet once you know what this technique is and don't desire it to initiate uncheck the packing packing containers. you are able to continuously re-run msconfig returned to recheck the courses returned if some thing isn't working genuine. additionally yahoo messenger has a decision tab which you will substitute so as that messenger wont vehicle load once you're laptop starts which would be much less complicated.

you'll also - as well as doing the msconfig bit - want to check your startup folder (Start>Programs>Startup) and delete any unwanted shortcuts (i.e.any programs you dont want to run when you start up your pc) in there.

delete some of the programmes on your pc, for example, things you might have downloaded like games, some net sites you have cliked on, they then pass the buck! so to stop this, you can delete some of the programs, also go to you internet options, and do 'block popups' on there
