I mean, if a question starts with the words "What if", I fail to see how that makes it "conversational" or whatever. It is question of a more hypothetical and/or theoretical nature, but it is still a question, right? I've noticed that most of the questions reported and then subsequentially deleted [this past two weeks] were "what if" questions. Are people THAT afraid to think outside the box or even have a little fun on this forum? Or is it just wishful thinking on my part?

... or was it the "Bible thumper" comment? Since not everyone is Catholic or Christian or Baptist, and therefore does not wish to be referred to as such, does anyone have a suggestion for an all Bible-follower-ecompassing term I could use instead? That would be more useful than reporting questions that challenge your faith, wouldn't it? I'm not trying to be conversational as these are serious questions.

believe me the bias on here has nothing to do with your wording, but all to do with hateful people who make this forum their whole life. I think just about everyone has had a number of questions deleted by some insecure person on here for one reason or other.

Okay, on the first part I agree with you 100%. "What if" questions broaden the mind and the imagination. People should be entitled to ask the kind of questions they want no matter how ridiculous they are. As for the second part I'm Catholic and I don't really think of myself as a "Bible thumper". I don't even read the Bible all that much. I rely on my faith and the teachings of my priest. And I don't mind questions that challenge my faith. They force me to look inward and that makes me stronger. I see them as a test.

Depends on the What If!

A What If My Dog Were Jesus sounds a little off the wall.

A What If The Star Trek Transporter Were Invented, would you use it or take a shuttle?

That's off the wall but more reasonable.

Most of the What if question are meant to be mean and tare down people of some religion. I have no problem with some one with a good question about my faith, as long as the RESPECT it. As I RESPECT theirs.

Good question, and good points.

As long as the question deals with R&S, then it should be fair game.

Challenges to faith should not only be tolerated, they should be welcomed.
