I try to say it to my boyfriend once or twice a week - I don't like to say it all the time, I think it makes it lose meaning and significance. Also, if it's a special moment we'll say it - like if we've just had an amazing hug (and yes, I do mean hug - sometimes it's just more love-inspiring than sex) or if it's a birthday or something.
I occasionally say it to my mother. Not as often as I should. We're not close.
I love my friends. A lot. If i'm signing offline i'll sometimes say 'I love you' to my friends. In person I think I say it a lot more though, since we tend to get hyper and declare our love to one-another. I think it's a different sort of love, though.
Hope this helps. And just so ya know, i'm a bubbly 17 year old girl - i'm guessing personality, age and gender will probably effect how often you say the 'L' word!

I say I love you to my son a 100 times a day. To the rest of my family, only once in a while.

Everyday I call my mom and I always hang with saying I love you and she does too. I chat with my sister online and we finish up with saying I love you as well. If mom isn't home and my son is I tell him I love him. So depends on who answers at mom. So 2 to 3 people a day.

I don't say it unless I want something. On a regular day I usually don't; I can get people to do things without having to come up with mushy lies.

On a regular day I say it only to my Girlfriend, but if I may say 'loadsa love' to my immediate family if I speak with them (mum, dad, sister, grandma or grandad)
