There are 4 stages. 0-4. Cancer treatment is based on the "stage" of the disease. One of the best websites for cancer information is www.cancer.org. You can call them 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 1-800-ACS-2345. After breast surgery, other cancer cells present in the breast can be killed by Radiation Therapy.
