I hope you mean Indian forest service, or Indian Foreign Service.

This will again will depend on the assignment. Both are very difficult to get in to.

It is not easy to guess what to are asking, I pulled up 4 million references on I.F.S.

Any way if it is one of the services then you need to meet the requirement.

1. Basic Degree from an University.
2. Age at starting at 1-25
3. Passing, Entrance Exam, held twice a year.
4. Job Opening(availability)

This was few years ago, things change from time to time.
