I can certainly relate to your dilemma. I am 45 and 5'1. I have been 5'1 since I was 15. It is possible you will not grow anymore. If you have small parents and started pubertly early, your current height may be it.

You can gain 10cm by using good posture, drinking lots of H2O helps increase the disc space in your spinal column and the most significant increase is seen early in the morning when you first get out of bed. However, I doubt you will see a 10cm difference in a month, and of course you can wear heels. Not much help really. Wish I had more to offer you, and me as well :)

I'm curious as to why you need to gain a half by the end of the month?

There ain't a thing you can do about it-- sorry. Even looking at relatives isn't a good indication of how much you may grow, since shortness is a recessive gene. Your parents and entire family could be tall, but with the right (or wrong) combo of genes, it won't do you much good. What you should worry about are things like muscle tone and bone density, and ensuring you exercise and eat a balanced diet as you mature. It won't make you taller, but it will make you healthier.

I'm assuming by the desperation you're a guy. If that's the case, relax-- I'm 6'3", and I didn't start growing until I was fifteen. Then my clothes couldn't keep up! And if I'm wrong and you're a chick, take it from a tall guy-- we dig short women. They make us look taller :)

You are still growing, so the best thing to do is get lots of rest, eat healthy and excercise to keep fit, do not do harmful things to your body, no drugs no cigaretts and usually at your age and younger kids have growing spurts, so you never know it could be soon, just make sure to take good care of yourself and stay healthy, 5' 3" isn't so bad, give it some time and you will be taller.

There IS no solution except to wait and be patient. You are only 15 so you have plenty more years to grown. You'll be done by the time you are in your very early 20s. Until then, there is nothing you can do to get there faster--no exercises, devices, drugs, vitamins, supplements or stretches. NOTHING works.

go to your doctor, have a bone density test. and Lay off the negative feedback. 5'3 is the average for girls your age, boys too can be this hight and then have another growth spurt anywhere before hey are 24. Ask your doctor for a bone tensile test to see if you are done growing. I say you arent if your family is tracitionally much taller....all of them

Whats wrong with being short? Im only 5'4. Dont mind what other kids say. Just be yourself, and not worry about your height.

Please just be happy with who you are, why is being 5'3 so bad? Many successful people are of your height and it is easier to find clothes, and cute ones too. Look around and you will discover that they are so many people about your size or even smaller.
