for 2 weeks a guy has called me everyday. no talk of relationship stuff, dating or anything. just an hour or two conversation about music movies work blah blah..... he came home for his week off (he works out of town for 3 weeks and is off for a week) and i didnt hear from him the whole week. he went back to work 3 days ago. i dont understand. he said something about comin to see me on his days off.... what should i think?????

None of the people who answered so far have a clue about what is going on with this guy, they're only guessing. The only way for you to find out is to ask him. One possibility is that he is shy and unsure of himself.
If you are interested in him and willing to have a relationship with someone who is gone a lot, you'd better tell him your interested. If he is like me, he will never get any subtle hints.

He could have become side tracked with something.
- When we go out with the boys we usually get carried away - especially when we have been gone awhile and haven't gone out.
- Then, if we say something like we are going to hang out with a girl, our buddies give us crap and ulitmately we don't go and end up getting smashed and feel like crap the next day and then we do it all over again.
This is what I think might have happened. -
- What you should have done was give him a call and see if he wanted to do something.
- Don't make him always make the move. It is nice ot have it the other way around sometimes.

he sounds as if he is in one relationship and searching for a new one. you are a prospect and to keep out of trouble he doesn't talk about the stuff that would get your hopes up too much.
call him out on this or start going out and don't worry about missing a phone call now and then.
take your life back.

maybe he's thinking the same thing as you if you didnt call him either... guys dont like giving ALL The effort trust me...If I tell a girl well maybe we'll hang out ...and she's like "cool" and thats all she says...and i dont hear from her...i'll think she isnt interested and want her to show some sign that she's into me before i pusue anymore to save from looking like an iddiot....even the same thing when im fooling around wit ha girl...if i touch her and she doesnt respond by adding to it...i'll just stop even if she doesnt say no...i dont want a girl who just SITS there but one who CONTRIBUTES
