Me & my friend are both single. Sometimes we pull women, sometimes we don't pull anyone. We are thinking of going speed dating for a laugh - what could we expect? We wouldn't time waste the women, we just wondered what it is like & want to have a laugh. We thought we would both go to the same event as we could talk to the same women. Serious answers only please.
We both love older women (but not too old).

I have done it. It is quite fun. The only time I ever went to one of those speed dating events, I was one of 11 guys and there were like 23 women there. I rather enjoyed getting outnumbered by the ladies 2-1. We all sat at a table and each lady would come to our table and we had at least 6 minutes to talk and ask questions. At the end of the night, we would score the ladies and check which ones we would like to meet again and vice versa. Of course I didn't meet anyone I would ever consider again, but I gave it a shot and kept an open mind. I always believe in using every avenue available to meet the ladies. :)

I have been speed dating when I was 26, Was good fun, time seems to go so fast. From the women I chatted to after the event they didn't like it and prob wouldn't do it again, I think becasue they are forced to talk to dorks like me. Its a fun experience, I do look young for my age, and cheekily someone who were only a year older were asking my age as if i was a teenager or something!
Make careful note of the age range of the event, speeddater usually put ranges up. Women seemed more older than younger and were looking for older men, (30's) silly really as some had obviously lied about ages but then should have gone to older event. vanity lol.
Its a good fun I'd go for the craic!

Well you can certainly expect a laugh but don't expect to much more. I mean, how much can you really know about a person in 5 minutes anyway? Go ahead and do it for s.h.i.t.s. and giggles. Let me know if it was fun!
