I have this good friend of mine who rarely sweats even when we are playing football (in our tropical weather). He uses moisturisers a lot, but sweats little. Most of the time his skin is dry and he has high temperatures. Could there be a hormonal problem, and how can this be corrected?

Its not normal as sweating regulates body temperature. If sweating is less, then body temperature will be always high which can cause problems like dehydration,& in extreme cases death.Consult a certified doctor.

He may have Sjogren's syndrome. It is an auto-immune disease. No, it is not normal. He can overheat. Dry skin is an indicator, also, as are dry eyes. He should have a monoclonal blood test performed looking specifically for Sm & Ro antibodies.

Sweat glands are somewhat genetic like hair growth, eye colour, etc. Doesn't sound like hormones per say. His doctor should already be aware and have explained to him how to handle his condition. If his Dr. hasn't then your friend needs a new Dr.

this would depend on the cream you are using ::: it's probably clogging your pores and your bodies defence is to sweat to clear your pores , use a moisturizing cream with less oils >> also yes people do sweat different ,hormones, size , foods they eat >>>etc.
