The best I can do is to treat the others the way I like them to treat me. I don't criticize others because I give them always excuses. no one has the same opportunities in life, we are who we are because of what life gave us...I have a lot of love in my heart for everyone who needs me. I don't turn my back to anyone who asks for help. love is the only arm against selfishness...

You can't. It is so embedded in the human condition. We are selfish from birth. From even before birth. However there is one whom when you let Him into your life and submit yourself to Him He will become your new nature, which has no selfishness.

You can't, it's impossible.

Each and every one of us is selfish in one way or another, it's in our nature, it's in the nature of everything.

What is best is to make sure that everyone get what they want, and I think that is one selfish nature that reside in many (if not most or even all) of us.

It is not possible entirely. Just think daily of how you can help others in every aspect. Letting a car merge in front of you. Be helpful with friends family and coworkers. Ask God to help.

Hmmmm. Almost everything people do can be linked back to selfishness, so I'd say it's pretty much impossible to be COMPLETELY selfless.

It's possible one step at a time, understanding that we'll back track once in a while.

Isn't it better to try than to wallow without love?
