I'm taking driving lessons and am nearing the finsih line, my sister let me go on her insurance, she has come round a picked me up loads and taken me out driving and covered her car in those sticky L plates even though she loves her car. When I made a mistake a went down a one way st and got pulled over and given 3 pt and a fine she gave me the confidence to get right back at it and fort to the bitter end with the police. (I'm just a criminal). I'm a bit skint and have about £20 to spend what can I do or get for my sister as a thanks? (she pretty much has everything already) Thanks in advance for your answers x

Good luck with your test and seeing you pass will be a great thank you. Why not make her something special that won't cost a lot but will have greater meaning than something bought as your put your time and love into it. Remember what goes around comes around and the biggest way to say thanks is when your sister needs your help you are there for her.

I agree with the guy who says write her a letter. It is something you can fill with thanks and appreciation, and she will surely keep it forever. With your 20 quid you could buy a picture frame and put one of the two of you together in it. You don't have to spend much, go to the pound shop! As a last resort you can show her these your question and these answer. She will be touched that you think this much of her and are looking for ways of thatnking her. Doing good things for people is great, but being appreciated - no matter how small - is priceless.
Good luck with your driving test!!

How about, renting a girlie movie, going round to her/your house and buy some really luxurious ice creams like haagen das or Ben and Jerry's and a bottle of wine and just chill out and have a good time together.

Then make sure you return the favour one day by helping her out in the garden or babysitting her child etc.....
This really shows your gratitude.

Surprise her with a big bouquet of flowers delivered to her work, it will be something she's not expecting and chances are brighten her day no end! Flowers might not last forever but a surprise like that when you're least expecting creates a happy memory that lasts longer than any gift can!

Tell her how much you appreciate what she has done for you and don't spend any money as she will know you have no money to buy her anything, but when she needs a favour you jump in and help her out.

it's pretty nice to know that you have a sister like that, when you're done with your lesson why don't you offer her a drive everyday until you get your own car ,or if she got kids why don't you pick her kids up.at least she save time and effort for a while

get her something that she really likes. But hey, she's your one and only sis, and she did so much for you, juz splashing out some money for your love one isn't a very terrible thing rite??? flowers, dinner or a trip to somewhere, only the two of you.

Write her a really nice letter. On paper. I know it sounds strange but someone did that for me recently and it was so nice. Plus I can keep it forever.

Make it personal, cook her a fave meal with a couple of bottles of wine. That shows more than buying a chinese or chocolates, because you have put time into it.
