Brent thank you for the great question sir!

Gene Fullmer was a very strong, durable, and determined fighter who could really take a punch well and good enough to beat Sugar Ray Robinson. Marvin Hagler of course is one of the greatest middleweight champs of all time and was an outstanding boxer, could bang with both hands, very determined, tough, and could take a punch perhaps better than any fighter. This fight looks like it would go the distance with Hagler landing the harder and more effective punches against the tough Fullmer who would try to get inside and inflict damage. At the end of 15 rounds, I see Hagler being declared the winner by unanimous decision.

Marvin Hagler, he was one of the best middleweights of all time. But, as far as I am concerned he blemished his record and lost my respect for him when he "fought " Sugar Ray Leonard and lost. That fight was a farce, just a show for big $$ for both of them.
