If a girl takes the time to say she likes a guy...TO the guy, then us guys assume that it is something more than just as a friend.
Then again, there is usually only one thing coming to mind when a girl does this...lol

All depends on the person and the situation, I would have to look at the signals be given out my the girl. If there was a bit of flirting involved and a good rapport between us then, I would probably think she is suggesting something more, but on the other hand If she was telling me this in a non-flirty way, I would think nothing of it and just assume that its meant a a friendly gesture.

My gut reaction would be to say "more". However, I would temper that based on the relationship the two people have had up to that point. If you've been friends for quite some time, than you already have an unspoken foundation of being liked as a friend, so a confession of liking someone implies more... But if there's been nothing to suggest that there are feelings (lingering hugs, stolen touches, holding hands, fleeting glances, sneaking away from your group of friends for some private time), then I would second-guess her intent....

I think you will be telling me she needs more than friendship. Usually friendship just happens without saying. So to me it means this girl loves me. And to be frank I would fall in love with the girl. You really need big guts to tell this to a guy and it means that this girl means it from the bottom of her heart.

Of course more if it was just a friend why would she bother coming up and telling you. Of course if you are worried that he might wonder then you could tell him straight that you like him.

If she says "she likes you" I suspect it means more than just "Hey...you're a pal".
Any male would think so. Women are usually smart enough (at least the ones I know) to include "as a friend" to deliniate where you and they stand. Just so there are no misconceptions on your part.

If a woman told me she liked me, it depends on how warmed up she makes me fell when I am around her. If she makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over, I may make a play for her if she tells me she likes me. Otherwise, I would feel as though she is a friend.

It would mean that she as a different feeling toward the guy than she currently has already communicated. You wouldn't tell someone "I like you" if that was already known and understood.

well tell how many times u have told ur frnd tht u like him just becoz u both are frnds,
theres no difference in opposit sex if grl is saying tht she likes thn it do means the other way for sure ... for just being frnd i dont think u need to say u like the guy or anything like tht, one can simply say i wanna be frndly with you...
