Ephesians 5:31 So again I say, a man must love his wife as a part of himself; and the wife must see to it that she deeply respects her husband-obeying, praising and honoring him.
I was reading some self help type book and came across this verse men love his wife - wife respect your husband. I have read the Bible completely ten times and did not remember that part of the verse and looked it up and sure enough it was there
This dawning that my husband truly needed me to respect him, I did things for him out of love but that was not as important to him as showing respect for his decisions. It freed up a lot of things within our marriage.

I have had to be beat over the head with them. I am stubborn. When they caused me a lot of trouble in my life then I would address them.

By people yelling at me, refusing to listen, being miserable, getting yelled at again, repeat process...until finally something makes sense.
I think we all need to get yelled at now and again.
