...that I really fancy! I live in on a new development and started to notice this guy around. Not only does he live on the same development, he lives in the same block of flats as me just down the corridor on the same floor! We've bumped into each other a couple times over the space of about a month but said nothing more than hi. His is a 2 bed flat so he may have a girlfriend (or hopefully just a flatmate!). I may not see him again for goodness knows how long - what should I do? Or should I wait for him to make a move, if at all! Maybe whatever will be will be....what do you think?

Next time you bump into him just ask him how hes doing and how is he settling in - ask him is he living alone or with someone? keep the conversation casual - hopefully he'll get chatty with you and if ye can hold a conversation for a while - leave it at that until next time you see him - have another chat with him and so on.
dont ask him out too soon or you could stand to live if mortification of your neighbour if he rejects you!!!
Bide your time and Im sure it'll all work out for the best. xx

Invite a few of them in your development to your flat for a few drinks, then you will know whether he has a partner or not...... this way it saves a lot of embarrassing moments in the lift if he has a partner!!

Try introducing your self as the newer neighbor.... tell him most of the folks you've met keep to them selves ... can he offer any suggestions on a good place to eat, drink , etc .... and offer to take him with you ..as you don't like to go alone ...being new to the area .... see what happens.

Good luck, be your self ....good things come to those who persevere.

Next time you see him start a casual conversation. He might be shy. Then take it from there.
