Lots of things are acceptable. Go to the library and get a book by Metzger on North American Denominations(Religions)

Are you really interested in Christianity or are you more interested in human hypocrasy. I think you like stirring the pot, don't you.

If I wasn't a religious person but wanted to find out some information about what a Christian believed, I would ask these questions:
1) What is the name of the God you worship?
2) What rituals do you celebrate?
3) Do you believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior?
4) Do believe anything the Bible says?
5) Do you believe in life after death?
Hope this helps a little. Have a good day

Anything asked honestly, no matter what it is, is not offensive. It is offensive to ask a question in a way that it makes some preluded point about Christianity, such as "Don't you think that your God is a killer because of what happened in Exodus?" That would be offensive.

The tone of a question is brought out in the words itself.

I agree with Dr. Linder. Ask me anything and I will answer according to Scripture. I can not help that God's Word is offensive.

"Jesus said..., 'I am the Way and the TRUTH and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.'" John 14:6

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1

you are able to understand a persons' faith yet strongly disagree jointly! i encounter maximum religions thoroughly preposterous the thoughts all too stupid and far too many loop wholes for them to furnish any kinda of passable answer. you're aspect is amazingly valid in case you propsed the idea of unicorns to be authentic it could be right down to you to produce some quite damn good evidence as to why they exist than for others to produce evidence that they don't. yet that being suggested faith is mostly a gentle difficulty and human beings can position all their values, existence alternatives, beliefs and ideas on it so attacking or perhaps wondering it may set off sturdy emotional responses. you won't be able to evaluate faith to politics as spirituality is interior the guy an unseen component more suitable than emotion politics in spite of the indisputable fact that are sturdy genuine existence actual happenings they fall on different scopes altogether

Any question is acceptable as long as it is asked because the person is really wanting to understand. Questions that are statements hidden in the form of a question that blaspheme my Lord and Savior are not.

As far as I know, nothing as far as beliefs.

Now, you'll get into trouble if you ask about personal things like what do they do sexually, which should also have no bearing, but it usually does rile people up.

Most people who are active will generally give you a big list of what they believe in or don't.

My sensiblities are far from delicate, but I also don't waste my time answering ignorant questions or questions designed specifically to anger.

All questions are serious questions are acceptable. The junior high kids need to take their questions to junior high.

If someone asks a question like "Has the pope defecated in your mouth?", a person isn't "delicate" if they're offended by it.

Yes, someone actually did ask that question yesterday.
