Do you mean when we used it in the past?
The main advantage then was we were all younger and better looking and it was a good OS for it's time.
Anyone still using it today is slightly mad and needs to urgently update to XP. Once Vista is out XP will die away and there is no way a Win98 vintage machine can run Vista so the clock is ticking.

Windows98, for the time, was much more reliable than other versions of Windows (Even Windows ME, which came after 98).
However, it was also large, lacked good plug and play support, and setting up an internet connection was a real pain.

Disadvantage. : many applications are not compatible with Win98 and as in the advance windows drivers are installed automatically, u have to do it manually in it.
