It's funny you should ask. I am the type of guy who respects any woman I am after and you know where it gets me? They look to change me b/c, well, I guess that's what woman expect they'll have to do, and when they see little to change in my personality (and I know I am not perfect, so don't read this the wrong way) they get confused and lose their confidence, pull away from the relationship b/c they often say they feel "undeserving" or some crap. So the way I see it, guys have to treat women like that so they can change us and see we are committed and really into them.

I firmly believe this is the fault of women who overlook the men like that for "Bad guys" then when they want the nice ones, they can't get any because the good ones are acting like cavemen to get a girl.

Not all guys are like that, it's just the exuberance of youth.
Most guys grow out of it.
I have met a few women who are pretty selfish & just out for what they can get too, so it's a two way street
