FIRST YOU NEED TO SPEAK TO YOUR PARTNER AND SEE WHAT IS GOING ON...HE OR SHE MIGHT BE DISTANT BC THEIR FEELINGS MIGHT NO LONGER BE THERE. YOU NEED TO FIND OUT WHY HE IS IGNORING YOU. DO NOT LET YOUR PARTNER SAY THEY DONT KNOW WHY OR SOME COP OUT EXCUSE, YOU NEED A STRAIGHT ANSWER, BC IF THERE IS A PROBLEM IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED. AND IF YOUR PARTNERS ANSWER IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH AND YOU ARE STILL HURTING, YOU NEED TO LEAVE THIS PERSON AND GO FIND SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY HAVE WHEN THEY HAVE YOU. YOU DONT DESERVE TO BE IGNORED!

ignore him, have a life of your own with your girlfriends like go and have a night where all of you and your friends can go to lets say a sushi place-for ex., then maybe a movie and then to starbucks. if you keep yourself preoccupied and act as though nothing is bothering you he will get the message that you dont bend your back for him but that you also have a life of your own! go and work out, jog in the park, invite a friend over to see a DVD at your place or go to hers, have some family time and pick up a book and maybe read it...try doing something new like for example try doing baking or cooking if you always wanted to but never got the chance to learn how to make a favorite pie, dessert, etc. the more you are with your friends the more you will forget!

A good & real partner will never do it.
A selfish or a rented partner only can behave such. Therefore, you too start ignoring. This will react in two ways :
1. Create jeliousy to the geniun partner to come back.
2. You will be able to find, wheather geniun or not.

Are you a lady or a gentleman? Did you know they both speak different languages? I highly highly recommend this book to you - 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus'. You will discover that, maybe, he has just gone into his cave, to sort himself out. I'm a lady, and I learn from the author, John Gray, that a deeply silent man, is simply searching for answers within himself before he talks. Your wanting attention may irritate him only more. Why don't you allow him the time to sort himself out. A quiet man could simply mean that he's stressed. Don't stress him more by being unhappy and sad. Put on a smile, and support his 'dark days', till he's happy to come out and talk to you. While women thrive on communicating about problems, men could be otherwise, mulling over them! I think, it's not you, he just needs time.
Read the book - Men are from Mars, Women, Venus! (John Gray) - It opened my eyes.
Let him not be the sole source of your fulfilment.. Icycrissy is right in that you need to find good ways of occupying yourself.
Communicate clearly, when you are both in a mood to talk. Don't insist when he won't, as it will only lead to you being more of a bother.
If you really do have a thing for him, let him know that you trust him, and that he is the best man for you. While men need to learn to show they care, women need to show they trust.
Do you trust him? Do please trust your love (if he is) to handle the problem and many similar silly little problems. Don't provide unsolicited advise and suggestions at the wrong time - called pestering and nagging.
The best communication is the one that is at the right time for it.
Trust him, and he will care for you.

This same problem was with me. Start ignoring too. If he/She really loves u then he/she will definitely come back if not then he/she doesn't. If u LOVE someone then leave it free if it comes back it is ur, If not it was never ur. I know its difficult but u must do it.

The best thing to do about that is to just ignore him back. Let them know that you can be the same way.

start a new hobby or something and don't let it bother you. He is looking for a reaction from you and if you pretend to not care, it will make him more mad and he'll realize what a jerk he's being

genuine ppl dont let their partners worry over such things as neglection, and trust me if they do it consciously then it is absolutely to get rid of them. Forget him/her
