I think you are mostly right. Christians consider Moses as a prophet, and early leader of the Jews. Jesus is God, born of the virgin Mary, in a normal physical birth. The Jews (most of them) reject Jesus. Christians were Jews that believed Jesus to be Lord (God). Jesus did not get married nor had children. When He died, He took captivity captive, and made a show of His adversaries (this is where it is believed He went literally into Hell and took the keys of Death and Hell). The Bible, in its prophecy, said His people would reject Him, and most did. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice. All that accept Him as lord will be saved.

I hope I answered all of your Q's.

Moses took a people who were enslaved and freed them.

Jesus took a world that was enslaved by sin and freed it.

Moses gave us the law.

Jesus founded the Church, which replaced the law.

Moses pleased God by his dedication and faith, and because of his unique relationship with the almighty, was an effective advocate and intercessor for his people, the Israelites.

Jesus pleased God by his dedication and selfless acts, obtaining God's eternal favor for his people, the Church.

Moses and his people escaped from the domination of evil by water (crossing the Red Sea) and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus accomplishes the same thing through baptism into his church.

Moses fed his people in the desert with Manna provided by God.

Jesus feeds his people with his own body and blood.

Moses led his people to the Promised Land of Israel.

Jesus leads his people to the Promised Land of Heaven.

Moses was a prophet and the leader of his people.

Jesus is a prophet, and is also King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Moses spoke to God "face to face".

Jesus is God, and he certainly speaks to his Father "face to face" as Jesus is enthroned in heaven, at the right hand of the Father.

I could go on, but I hope you get the picture.

There are many parallels between Moses and Jesus:
* Moses was saved from the slaughter from Pharoh; Jesus was saved from the slaughter from Herod.
* Moses served as mediator of the Law from God to his chosen people; Jesus is mediator of the Law from God to his chosen people.
* Moses lead God's people from slavery of Egypt to the promised land; Jesus leads God's people from the slavery of sin to the Kingdom of God.
* Moses guided God's people through the wilderness; Jesus guides God's people through the wilderness of this world.
* Moses was rejected of the people as their savior; Jesus was rejected of the people as their savior.
* Moses expounded the Law; Jesus expounded the Law.
* Moses judged the people; Jesus judges his people.
* etc., etc., etc., ...

Moses had a father and a mother; Jesus' physical mother was Mary, and his physical father was God; his spiritual mother is the Church, and his spiritual father is God.

It is little known that Jesus, as the Word of God, was married -- to Israel (his death ended that marriage). And he will marry again in the resurrection, the Church of God. And he will beget children.
