Be careful... Toner should fade out pretty quickly, but if really bothering you... go back to the salon, and tell them it is too dark.. They can de-cap your hair for literally 30 seconds in the sink, and you will lighten up. This should be followed up with a nice protein conditioner. Prell will dry your hair terribly, and you already have processed hair. You don't want to parch your hair to the point of breakage. If one of my clients came back to me feeling too dark.... I would do this service on the house, as it is a quick simple fix. Good luck!

Was it toned down by a friend or in a salon. If in a salon go back so they can correct it. If you and a friend did it well.....depending on the condition of your hair and how dark, dark is you could use prell because it will strip the hair....though some would not recommend it. With this in mind if your hair is in good condition, use prell then go to a beauty supply store and get purple filler. This you put on and become a purple head for 15 -20 minutes and rinse out, it will cut yellow. I use to bleach my hair and I used it all the time. My aunt was a beauty operator back when and used prell to strip temporary hair color. The balls in your court gal.......be careful....

I would not have them lighten it again. Yes, Prell or dish detergent helps fade color faster. Make sure to use conditioner. Good luck

No! Prell dries your hair terribly. To dye to soon again, you will regret it, it will make your hair dry and frizzy. I would wailt a month or so, use salon shampoo & cond. to strengthen your hair and then highlight your hair again. Don't get impatient or you will regret it. Once the hair is overprocessed, there is no repairing it except for cutting it all off.

The toner will fade slightly....for a home remedy, try a bit of your dish detergent;....sounds odd, but it acts as a stripper. If this doesn't work, go back to where u had it done.....and make sure you are NOT charged....this isn't YOUR fault it's too dark!
