We have the best educated , most motivated troops in the world .
Our troops overwhelmingly voted against Kerry in 2004 .Kerry will never forgive that
In 2004 Kerry was the best , the brightest , the smartest, the democrates had to offer and he still is !!
If you went to Iraq and grabbed any service member at random, he/she would be worth 10 John Kerry's .
Kerry has consistently voted to cut the military Budget and the size of our forces and the troops know it.
Yes , Kerry is a disgrace and an idiot .
Was he misunderstood ?
No , he speaks English and so do our troops .

I'm sure most people in office say or do things that are much worse when they're out of the public eye. For my part I'll be very happy when the elections are over, and we're not being bombarded with this manure anymore. How can anyone take either party seriously at this point? Both the Republicans and Democrats are pitiful.

Why can't politicians who are running just tell us where they stand on every issue so we'll know how they'll vote, then shut the hell up?

I love that photo. I'm glad the military is throwing it right back at Kerry. Now, I can only hope that the American public pays attention.

Just to make it clear, that IS a joke. The military aren't saying they want to be home, they're sending a message to Kerry and anyone else who believes his comment was a "joke". I can already see the Dems trying to say that they really want to come home. The least they can do is get the RIGHT message this time and listen to what the troops are saying!!

EDIT: Wanda, I suggest instead of bashing our men and women in uniform, that you thank them instead. Todays military are some of the brightest and highly trained. ALL officers have college degress and the majority of the enlisted forces, such as my hubby have also attended college. Pull your head out of your a$$ because you just proved your ignorance.

Ok, I'm probably going to get a thumbs down for this...But I really don't care.

First off, let me start by saying that I'm in the army. I've served a year in Iraq, and when I heard Kerry's "joke" I threw the remote at the TV. My first instinct was to get up in arms and start huffing and puffing.
But then I heard his apology. Yeah, he's back pedaling. He's trying to take what he said back and spin it in a different direction...But, what if that's how he honestly meant it? What if it really was a mis-spoken stab at our current presidents education level?
Let's face it; Bush is not a good public speaker by any means. But if we jumped on the "we hate bush" band-wagon every time he screwed up a play on words, we'd never get off. we'd spend everyday up until the '08 election screaming about how Bush was a disgrace.
No. Our military men and women are not stupid. We are strong, brave, intelligent individuals, who fight to protect the rights given to us by the US constitution. But one of those rights is the freedom of speech. Kerry exercised that right when he made the joke, and when he apologized for it. Let's move on.

i does no longer call all and sundry interior the militia, US or British, stupid. i've got heard that from the Paul camp a pair cases. i do no longer think it is genuine. i'm going to provide you a reason. Paul additionally needs to hold lower back each and all the troops yet that creates a huge subject. If there are no wars and no troops interior the sector, there is not any desire for the type of extensive militia. So what occurs? He the two ends re-enlistment, discharges infantrymen and specifically scales down the militia. What does that do? It places 1000's of 1000's of infantrymen out of paintings, the manufacturers of weapons bypass out of organization, and so on. the warriors are keenly responsive to what would ensue. final presidential election the militia donations became skewed in direction of Obama yet much greater so than what's reported. with the aid of fact taking workplace, President Obama has greater desirable their pay over the objections of republicans, stronger their relatives reward, completely funded the VA, eradicated DADT, plus different issues. i do no longer think of our infantrymen would overlook that already. z @No Spin...: incorrect. the best brass is unquestionably conservative however the rank in report is overwhelmingly liberal. z

A study by the Heritage Foundation found that the US military troops are actually better educated and from more priveleged background than the average US 18-24 year old.

Per the study, since September 11th, "more volunteers have emerged from the middle and upper classes and fewer from the lowest-income groups. ... Since 2001, enlistments have increased in the top two-fifths of income levels but have decreased among the lowest fifth."

Oh, and the combat units' (infantry, armor, artillery) racial make-up mirrors the racial mix of the US, for all the race-baiters out there.

Kerry is a piece of work. He's been bad mouthing US military since he cut 'n ran from Vietnam.

With the exception of the USMC, Navy or AF, yes they are pretty dull. Having computerized weapons and shot em and forget em type ordnance doesn't make the user smarter, a trained monkey can do the same thing just as accurately. Think about it.
