Not always, I get asked dumb questions all of the time.
I try to answer with thought and deliberates, not with a dumb answer.
Maybe the questioner doesn't have the words to ask, so the question comes out sounding dumb, yet if you read between the lines of the question, you can always come up with a really good answer.

I always think that a dump question comes from a person who either really wants to ask something else but for some reason prefers not to, or who wants to attrack attention by making a false attempt to make the difference.
Dump questions don't always come from dump people, but usually come from insecure people.
I usually answer with a question to find out more.

No, some people may take their questions very seriously and not feel it is dumb at all. Simply seeking information. So, one should try to be as helpful as possible. However, sometimes it is very difficult. Some questions are simply absurd. God Bless

thts is Dumb Question. well Dumb questions need dumb answers
don't they.to make the dumb person happy.
