Evangelical is not a domination but something that a group of christian call them self. Some believe in speaking in tongues, like I do. Other believe that was just for the first century church.

I think that they do not acknowledge the baptism in the Spirit as in the early church (with speaking in tongues being an evident) and do not exercise the manifestations of the holly Spirit the way Pentecostals do. Evangelicals do respect and acknowledge the divinity and importance of the Holly Spirit but when it comes to His manifestations like speaking in tongues, tongue interpretation, prophesying etc, they hold the position that these were for the old days when they were highly significant for the establishment of the young church. Excuse me if I'm wrong, as I'm not an evangelical myself. I know many evangelicals that have been baptized by the Holly Spirit. Some of them left their congregations to go to "charismatic" ones. Some others remain in their evangelical congregations, although they were advised not to make a big deal out of their baptism in the Spirit, as it not in step with the "official" doctrine and might result the breaking of the unity of the church.
Nevertheless, they are very dear brothers and sisters and, in principle, very good Christians.

Is evangelical a denomination? I don't think it is...

Some denominations do. Some don't. Some do but don't do it in a church service.
