Yes, I agree with you 100%. We should all try to respect other people's religious beliefs even if we don't agree. It is rude to get into shouting matches with others. We don't want to be argumentative. God is a peaceful person and we should strive to be the same. Peace.

I don't present my own for FEAR of attack. But mine are really strange, and when I've answered questions with even a bit of what I really "believe" worked in, I've gotten angry emails and reports. So. I don't.

ETA: For the record, I put an entry in my 360 not long ago explaining much of what I believe (and why I put it in quotation marks). If anyone is curious, it is here: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-lh_9.p0wdaGWW06CWXdS?p=10

i am without belief; there, is that ok?

sometimes to give a point of view, people get mistaken and think they'r being attacked.

If u just present your own beliefs, then, --taken litterally-- there is no discussion, just people jibbering.

Yes it is better, but some people thrive on controversy and like to put others down. If everyone would learn respect and tolerance, it would be a much happier planet.

As Thomas Jefferson once said, "Ridicule is the only weapon against unintelligible propositions." That means that people sometimes you just can't get through to people....maybe they can't think with a logical mind....who knows....so what better to do then attack and make fun of them.

It's better, but it's so much easier to point out another's faults and fears. When they attack another religion (any religion) they can ignore their own short comings.
