Id est, from the digestion process that requires energy. Fruits don't make you tired, apparently. Why is that?

That's a myth. ANY food can make you tired after eating it, depending on what it is and how much you eat. Also, regardless of what type of food you eat, if you eat only as much as your body needs (or less) it won't make you tired. Now, it is possible to eat more fruits and vegetables than other types of foods without getting tired because they're almost entirely made up of simple carbohydrates, which are the most easily digested types of foods. Whole grains and foods with processed flour/sugar take more energy to digest, foods with any type of fat take even more energy to digest, and protein takes more energy to digest than anything else -- that's why high-protein/low-carb diets became popular (eat a lot of protein and burn more calories just by digesting the food you eat).

Fruits have natural sugars in them... which keep you active and act almost as a stimulant to your body.

As I have elderly I have discovered to love cabbage in all types. Stir-fried, with rice and greens. Great supply of fiber additionally. It is first rate with fried rice and Dungeoness Crab. Sandwiches too.

fruits have natural substances in them and they serve as an appetizer. so depending on the quantity you eat it will not make you tired because it nourishes the body and stimulates your blood vessels.
