I was having problems swallowing, went to MD, had an ultra sound, MD said my right side of my thyroid was 4 times bigger than the left and it had rough ridges on it. Anyone had this before?

I just had a 7 cm (yes, centimeter!) nodule removed from the right side of my thyroid, along with the right 1/2 of my thyroid. Thyroid tumors are a fairly common problem for women. 99% of the time they are not cancer, and even when they are, they are easily treated. Just follow the instructions of your physician.

It sounds like my thyroid problems I had a while ago. I am taking medication for my thyroid and have been doing so. the dr has told me that you have to take the medication for the rest of your life. It can be a big exspense. Good luck and god bless.

high?.....With a thyroid condition, their are all kinds of systems. Like, joint pain, being tired, loss of sleep, gain
weight, depression. I take a prescription for it, and have to
work out and i walk alot. I watch my diet. It can be very
serious. I would recommend reading about it.

No sorry, I also have thyroid problems and often get pain in the neck, you may have to take thyroid tablets and I think they are for life.
