Because of their innocence is what makes us smile. Just seeing a little baby takes any stress I have completely gone. It's their smiles, the way they talk and move that totally makes people smile. It's not so much as hating each other as we get older, yes some people do feel that way but honestly it is a waste of a lifetime to go on hating people, it's not worth it. As much as there are rude people out there, there are still many many nice people too.

We are hard wired to feel good when we see children. In humans it takes a huge amount of effort to raise a child. If there was not a reward system we would have died out long ago. The people who did not smile at children tended to die out leaving the smilers to reproduce. Darwin strikes again.

They makes you laugh or smile because you have grown above them and whatever they are doing seems funny to you because the moment you see any child, psychologically, you will remember when you were like them. Then, comes SMILE.

because when we are children we are so innocent and carefree and that makes older people smile because we remember what being like that was like.
when you grow up you learn to take on responsabilities and get jobs and make commitments so that carefree life goes down the drain....looking at children makes us see how hectic our lives have become and we whish for that carefree lifestyle again.

I don't like children. They don't make me smile. I'm using smiling until I see one of those little things. Kittens are cute though, that's why they make me smile. What happens? Well, we grow up and realise that life isn't all fun, games and candy canes.

I feel something warm,happiness...
besides when you see those little creatures staring at you with those big eyes and chubby faces how can you not smile?
I don't think that we all get angry while aging just people who are disappointed in life, frustrated etc.

I think the majority of us (those who are sane!) smile when we see any type of baby because of their innocence and their ability to see us for who we are and not for what they think we ought to be. They trust us and enjoy seeing our reaction to them, as they are still new enough to the world to have found out (dear souls) that not everyone can be trusted.

It's nature's way of giving helpless new life the best chance of survival.
Accumulated baggage, such as prejudice, greed, bad memories, selfishness etc.

Because they are so cute and also they are still innocent and sweet. They havent been exposed to all the evil out their that makes us the cynical adults that we are.
