Yes...it sucks! You go over and over it in your head and think of a million and one points you would like to make or things you want to say....alot of it directed to hurt the other person as much as you are hurting. And dwelling on it is not good. I have found talking with people I trust, and writing the it out in letter form to the person involved (you don't have to mail it) is very good for working through it and coming to some kind of end within yourself. Sometimes things don't end...they just stop. Sometimes just stopping is better than trying to end..

.I didn't have any contact with a family member for 6 years, it was incredibly painful and I went through real periods of depression, anger, frustration and peace. I used my employee assistance program, my Priest, my friends and my husband to get through it all. I have a fragile relationship with that family member (they live 14 hrs away now) and the distance helps keep things simple and fight free. But it still takes a lot of effort to not fall into what happened before. I made up my mind not to be like that person and turn into a bitter, unforgiving, nasty witch...

I hope this helps...time will help too. Best wishes...

I didn't know you could have closure, when the relationship was great. Deep down everyone thinks of a past relationship, Whether it was good or bad.

my ex-boyfriend and i separated un-officially. things were quite rushed then and it became so confusing on my part. it was like what the heck is going on and are we still together.. like where is he now?.. very confusing.

in the end, i moved on of my own accord. i felt better.
