Biy, i wish I still had this problem!! I used to be very skinny and my doctor told me to drink 3 milkshakes a day with some Instant Breakfast added to them. I don't know if it works or not because shortly after I got pregnant and then I had no problem gaining weight. After I had my daughter I weighed about 105 pounds and that was 13 pounds more than I had weighed before I had her so I didn't need to gain anymore. Now I am 33 and have had 4 children and I weigh about 135. Sorry for the life story but I said all that to say that as you get older and you will start to gain more weight.

Before you try to add any weight I suggest to see a doctor and make sure you do not have any endocrine gland problems. That is if keeping weight on is difficult. Just eating may not be the answer.

How old? A healthy way of adding a little weight would be to weight train...not heavy light a body builder, but improve muscle tone...especially in the legs and rump, gives a more athletic and healthy look.

Our bodies require about 500kJ (120kcal) per hour of energy, give or take about 100kJ (23kcal). Eating more than your energy requirements will make you gain weight, so long as your exercise level does not increase.

I had a friend with an eating disorder (anorexia) which she
asked me to help her brake... I taught her to love butter.
Problem solved.
Cook with lots of butter.

You could always see a dietician. Or increase your protein in-take.
