what is your opinion of comparing a jackhammer with awt34x by audiobahn.....I know its small but its cheaper as well and anyways I was expecting more from jack at the price it comes. I mean look at the kicker it may be smaller than the jack but cheaper and I guess its worth its price.

I saw a demo of one at Texas Heat Wave. Rockford Fosgate had their new T15kW amp hooked up powering some 50-70 P3 subs and it hit about as hard as the jackhammer. (this amp cost 20,000, not to mention the subs and boxes) however, the jackhammer could only play for about 1 minute since it drew too much power and even the rockford reps couldnt supply the power. the rockford setup lasted all day. When you consider the work you would have to do to your car, the added batteries, alternators, wiring, suspension, noise dampening, and everything else, just for one sub? its not worth it. You could get the 2 18" kicker that would take it, or a few 13.5 JL's that would easily stand over the jackhammer for alot cheaper.

i think its funny that a $10,000 22" subwoofer has only 3" of excursion, and doesnt hold the world record for spl. i think its a overated POS, much like the rest of the MTX line.
