Do Sky tv scramble the signal so that you can't record to video or dvd? or have i just got my system set up wrong?

you should be able to video normal sky programmes but the stop you taping pay per view films i believe.

Hi

The only thing they scramble are the pay for view films and events, you need to reconfigure your tv set up I think

I think they might do on Movies and Sports - try recording a BBC channel from your Sky box.

If that doesn't work then you've got something wrong. If it does work - Sky have prevented it on their channels.

I record from sky with no problems so you probably have it set up wrong.

If its not a ppv then no they dont scramble anymore.
