No in fact this year I will not be giving a present to someone that didn't even say anything to me last year when I gave it to them.

no!!! I give presents all the time birthday christmas weddings births even when I just see something I think the other person will like this year I got married and I didn't even get a card from some of these people I consider to be my friends .. so I am now bouycotting those that don't appricate it.. stuff the lot of em... I didn't get married for the presents but to not even get a card from people is just plain rude!!!!!!!

I would say that you should buy Christmas gifts for people who are special to you and do it because it makes you feel good not to get a thank you. If you are still good friends and you feel like getting them something then do so, but don't expect anything in return.

Did you thank them for the present they got you? If not then yes. If you did, then no. Or atleast get them something crappy like a halloween cake or Playboy.

Depends on who it was. Family member, then yes. Friend or acquaintance, then no. Also depends on if they give you a present.
