It is on the right next to my two central teeth, and my dentist to me that I can make a cap that's a bit larger than it and wear it, but she also told me that they'll need to remove part of it because a lower tooth comes over it..u see what I mean, so is it worth it?? and how much would that cost in dollars??

I've just had MAJOR dental work done. I can tell you that I would have been willing to pay 3X what my bill is just for the smile I see in the mirror. Call me vain- but your smile is what people see first. If you want this, go for it. But really think it through. If you don't like it- it can't be undone. Only you know what you can live with and what would make you happy. Take a good long look in the mirror and then a good hard look in your wallet. No idea what it would it would cost, but if it improves your self confidence- you can't put a price tag on that. When there is a will there is a way!
Good Luck!

A crown is not your only option. The tooth can be built up w/ composite material and shaped like a perfect tooth. This is called chairside veneers. Nothing is sent to a lab and when you walk out of the dentist's office you will look and feel great! This is a one appointment procedure and it costs alot less than a crown. You will have to have some tooth structure removed from that tooth or the opposing tooth b/c of the overlap. No big deal!

Your dentist does know best...but ask her about chairside veneers. Like I said....this is a simple procedure. It's like having a filling done.

Crowns can vary in price due to lab fees and the area you live in. I can't give you a definant price. They aren't cheap though!

What occurs is whilst your teeth turns into skinny the teeth starts to exhibit the underlying teeth constitution that is extra of a gray color. A powerful layer of teeth continues the tooth white and protects the tooth from dental decay. What you have got to do is to re-mineralize the teeth. Enamel is a matrix of minerals a good way to develop again when you permit it. Soda is among the worst matters - it rather does strip the teeth out of your tooth. The well information is that you'll get the teeth again via re-mineralizing your frame and giving it healthful meals. Once the teeth is skinny, you're going to have critical dental disorders. The dental micro organism can comfortably penetrate into the teeth and rationale decay.

If its that thin, taking a little off of it is better than it breaking off. A tooth colored cap where i live is about 900.00. SO YES ITS WORTH IT. I don't want jagged teeth!
