im buying a 1994 honda integra manual off a mate that won it in a show car compatition bout 3-4 months ago. done up the body kit nice rims and new springs. only 135000 milage but has just a basic sound system in it and does not have a v-tec engine for 6000 new zealand dollars? good deal or not?

show cars are usually not race cars, so i believe that the engine has not done much damage, but since its your mate and the car is well done up, and you know his driving style, then why not? but if its a car that is spending more time in the garage than the road. Don't even think of forking out 2k for that 12 year old car ! Cheers

I all depends on your need for a car like this. No, I think it's not a good buy.keep shopping. I am from Canada and I think you can get better bang for your buck. If you friend won it why is he selling it to you for 6k?

You could probably get something newer than 12 years old. It would more than likely save you some headaches down the line.
