a full size matteress is shorter and narrower and is easier to fit in bedrooms a queensize is about equal to a bed &half in size (one full bed &half and gives you more room to sleep on and takes up a little bit more space in your bed room, a kingsize equals 2full beds, i.e the matteress for the queensize is a little wider and long then a full size one and requires different size sheets and blankets . enjoy
