My sibling and I decided on Thanksgiving to end the exchange because we don't need anything any more.

But you could always get them gift certificates to a restaurant chain. Like Red Lobster, Olive Garden, something that almost everyone likes.

Unless you are on a diet...a box of chocolates is always nice.

My brother got my parents into the fruit of the month club.

You can get them an entertainment book for their city on the web.

Happy shopping.

Buy them a goat! Go to the Oxfam, or similar website and find great gifts for people who don't need anything. Oxfam will sent the gift to the people who actually need things. They provide you with a card reading something like- 'I bought you a goat but I gave to someone who needed it more than you'

I think it's a great idea and I'm doing for the majority of my family this year. It also cuts out the hassle of shopping and wrapping up.

So, you give them presents because you're afraid that they will be offended if you don't?

Shouldn't you be giving presents because you want to give presents?

If you don't want to and can't think of anything, then don't. Big deal if they feel offended. That's their problem.

HAVE YOU CONSIDERED A CARTIGAN FOR THEIR YORKIE? MAYBE THEY CAN USE A PACKAGE BOMB SO YOU CAN INHERIT THEIR MONEY MORE QUICKLY. SERIOUSLY, DON'T GET THEM SH**, IT WILL ONLY OFFEND THEM. SEND THEM A CARDSO THEY DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT YOU SEEING THEM NOT USING IT IN THREE YEARS.
