definitly with the highlights, they are so sexy and trust me, guys love a chick with highlights. It makes your hair look so amazing.!

So darker brown with light brown highlights is hot, but maybe you want to try light brown with blonde or golden highlights.! That's also equally as hot.

Either way you dye your hair i am sure you'll look hot..!

Good luck.

I personally vote for light brown highlights. As what others said, highlights are definitely 'in' among teenagers now. If you are a teenager aged 16 to 20, you should get a light highlight. A heavy one will make you too over-done and older. Actually, I will love to have light golden brown or blue highlights as they are nice and funky. If you are aged 20 to 30, I suggest you should a dye instead. It may make you look more mature. I hope this helps you. And I suggest you go to a good hair salon to highlight your hair if you're inexperienced. They may help you with your questions and give you the treatments that will make you look good.

As a general rule highlights in a lighter tone gives another dimension to the hair. You have already got a shade of brown which is quite light so if you put lighter shades you will get an overall lighter look which might not flatter skin tone unless you are a person with a rather rosy skin.

Get the highlights. Dimensional hair is SO IN....Highlights don't even need to be blonde. Get the foils, and have your stylist tone your highlights to even only 1-2 shades lighter than your base. This is hot..... You can even have him/her do highs and low lights in your foils all at once. Get your base, one shade darker, and one lighter. This is what I would recommend, especially given the season. Don't go too light with the highlights, as on pale winter skin, this could wash you out...... good luck!

depends on ur skintone but if u play it safe just do it without highlights but if your spontaneous and dont mind taking a risk (like ruining your hair) than do the hi lights ,,,i also depends on ur hair colour if your blonde i think u shouldnt do the hilights with the brown :)

What I think would look great is if you put blond foils in your hair over the medium ash brown colour. My sister has it done and it looks so hot.

Natural, with no highlights.

First of all, you should never have your hair one solid color (except jet black!). Too bland, especially in the color you're thinking of! Get the highlights, it'll look great!
